Trailguides is an AI Christian conversation service for adults 18+. The pilot is invitation-only. You start a conversation by texting the guide. Text HELP or PRIVACY for this notice and your controls. No START or I AGREE command is required. This page describes the pilot as it is built today.
What is processed
Your phone number routes replies. Message text and limited delivery information are used to run the conversation. Cloudflare hosts the service and stores encrypted conversation state. Sendblue processes inbound and outbound messages. Isoquant processes the recent conversation and any enabled memories to generate replies using GLM-5.3-Flash. Our requests to Isoquant require its zero-data-retention mode for message content; usage and billing metadata may still be recorded. These providers have their own data practices. We do not claim that the complete service is end-to-end encrypted or clinically confidential.
What Trailguides keeps
Up to 40 recent messages are retained for up to 30 days. Optional memory starts off; when enabled, up to 48 brief preferences, goals, context items, routines, or notes about what helped may be retained. Goals, context and feedback expire after 90 days; support preferences and routines expire after one year unless you reaffirm or update them. Each saved item includes the supporting words you shared and the date. You can inspect and correct these memories. Routing, activation, opt-out status, and check-in preferences are retained so your choices can be respected. Message identifiers are retained for up to 7 days to avoid duplicate replies. Expired content is removed during activity and daily cleanup. Founder preview conversations use the same retention rules.
Conversation state is encrypted before storage. The service can decrypt it to reply; administrators with production access can also access it. We do not put conversation text in routine application logs, run advertising trackers, or sell your conversations. Avoid sharing passwords, account numbers, exact addresses, or information you would not want processed by these services.
Your choices, by text
- MEMORY ON enables optional lasting memory.
- PROFILE or MEMORY shows saved facts and their IDs.
- UPDATE <id> <corrected fact> corrects a saved preference or goal.
- FORGET <id> removes one saved fact. FORGET ALL clears all saved facts.
- MEMORY OFF clears saved facts and stops saving more. Recent conversation remains separate.
- REACTIONS OFF disables occasional iMessage reactions. REACTIONS ON enables them again.
- CHECKINS OFF cancels daily messages.
- STOP stops messages; START resumes the conversation.
- DELETE ALL clears active conversation, memories, and check-in settings, and stops replies. A minimal suppression record remains.
Deletion from active Trailguides storage does not erase copies in your Messages app, delivery providers, model providers, or infrastructure backups. We cannot promise deletion of those independent copies. A message already being transmitted may still arrive after STOP.
Optional check-ins
Check-ins require a separate opt-in and a selected time zone. They are limited to once a day, between 9am and 9pm locally. They automatically pause after two unanswered check-ins and are disabled when the system identifies an urgent safety concern. They are not monitoring, emergency follow-up, or a human care service.
Pilot questions
Contact the founder through the invitation you received for access, privacy questions, or reporting an issue. Text commands are automated, not a human support inbox. Broader public enrollment is not open yet.
